Hi!
Just wondering if anyone knows any good resources for patterns for loom and peyote beading?
Muchly appreciated! Thanks. Smiley

www.bead-patterns.com has free and paid patterns. You'll find a TON of stuff there.

I tried going to the sites that advertise on craftster free bead patterns. I have been unable to find anything free. I would love it if someone would post diagrams of the basic bead stitches!

Basic beading stitches as in off loom weaving like peyote, square stitch, right angle, brick stitch, etc?

Go to the How To, the videos, and if you register, you can access quite a number of the free patterns.  They also have graph paper on the site too that you can print out to chart patterns on.

Here is the how to, but also if you register, lots of free patterns too.

Don't forget that you could also convert any graphed pattern to a loomed or off-loomed beaded piece, so something for graphic crochet/knitting, cross stitch, or needle point could be done that way.

try the free program Easybead patterns to learn to design your own patterns. Its fun and free. Also lots of sites have free video tutorials like youtube and firemountaingems.co m. I'm also new to the beading craft...about 5 mths now...and I'm hooked. I also live in the south and since and there are no groups to help me learn, I am going thru trial and errors.

I just got a real good book from the public library yesterday. It's pretty new, 2008. It is called "The Beader's Bible" by Dorothy Wood.
The publisher's website is www.davidandcharles .co.uk
They have lot's of other craft books too, but this one covers all the basics of beading. Good thing I get to keep it for 3 weeks!I am going to try to learn a few things before I have to give it back!
Your own public library may have it, or one similar. I know it had a price sticker of US. $25.00 on it. The website shows UK money amounts.

'[url-http://shala.addr.com/]Shala's Beadswork[/url]' has quite a few links and free patterns, plus graph papers for several stitches so you can easily design your own.
