Last year I was lucky enough to get one of knickertwist's Emotional Snowballs in a swap, and I just love it!

For the holidays this year I was trying to think of what I could make for this year's 'gift for the tree' to give to people, and the snowball came to mind. I wanted to try my hand at making some quirky bauble characters. Clay is usually not my friend, but it seems to be cooperating at the moment, thankfully. I want to make about 30 variations of these guys to gift.

They are made from air dry clay shaped over a core of scrunched up paper (a paper bag from my bread rolls to be exact, yay recycling!) tied with a little string to keep their shape. I found the wire for the hooks on the street, so it's aged perfectly for the style I was going for...and it was free, and cleared up the streets a little Wink
