Ooooh another nice package. I'm loving all the advent calendars, but I like this last one the most.

three pages later but I can't remember the specifics of what I wanted to comment on.... again - GREAT PACKAGES EVERYONE!!! There is such awesome stuff in this swap and I am feeling so left out. Sad

It seems my partner has computer issues, and the post office says my package was delivered on the 23rd, so I am posting pics of what I sent.  Hope she doesnt mind.

She asked for a stocking that would be donated to a child from a giving tree.  The stocking I made wouldnt hold anything so I found a lovely hand made and embellished it (see angel pic,) and filled it with purchased items and a Mickey and Minnie set that I had sewn and stuffed.

Then, since she had made comments in the thread about wanting her stocking filled with frogs from my creek and a race horse, I made her a stocking in her favorite fabric and filled it with frogs and a pair of race horse earrings.

Also included were two microwave/freezer rice bags to help ease her aches and pains; a leather frog and altered gloves similar to what she had admired from another swap we were in together, and a reversible tote bag with pockets on both sides.  The purchased in her stocking include a nail/skin buffing pad, a loofah and a bar of olive oil soap that I bought at the Greek Festival in town.

I really hope that she is, in fact, the recipient of the package (that the post office didn't give it to someone else) and that she likes everything I made for her.

OMG, love that tree skirt and and the stocking with buttons as well as the folky stocking are both SO cute!!!!!!

I agree with Superhooker too, I keep seeing things that I would've loved to include in StacySews' stocking and also with Melvinator that I will definitely be signing up for next years swap, this was great!!!!!!!!!!!!  Still is great for that matter, I am still loving watching the packages roll in, such a great group we've had!!!  Grin

I love the penguin towel!!! The advent calendar is awesome and that tree skirt is amazing. Now I want one in blue, white, and silver. But given the pain involved in making it, I'll probably stick with my store bought one.  Cheesy
