On a pleasant christmassy note, my house smells AWESOME right now.  Part of freestyle's package is in the oven.

Ooooo, yummy!! I am so envious of people that can cook! I didn't bake you anything superhooker because, well, I value your health.

onegroovy day, I love your packaging! I need to steal that idea considering my lack of wrapping skills.

That scarf is beautiful. I LOVE the fisherman saying.  Cheesy

Holy fiber, freestyle!

*wipes drool off her shirt*

I realllly need to learn something that requires yarn, and therefore dying my own yarn  Cheesy

Just jump in! I started spinning and dyeing long before I had a clue what to do with yarn.  Cheesy

the best thing about wrapping with fabric..... you can squish and squish and it doesnt get all crumply..... it still looks nice after being stuffed into a box.... stuffed some more and then squished to tape the boxed closed.......... Cheesy

A teaser for my partner polkadotts.  My cat wanted to come to polkadotts house with her stocking goodies.  Well I had a hard enough time getting her goodies stuffed into the box so my cat just wouldn't fit.  I sure hope polkadotts like what I sent her.

That's adorable!! It reminds me of when we first got Sandy (our latest pup)...

That was when we lived in Doha, but she LOOOOVED sleeping in the dirty clothes! Cheesy

Oooo... A teaser picture!  I do believe that's the first time a swap partner has taken a teaser picture for me.  I am extremely excited to get it.

I love the illusion scarf too, although I must say I'm firmly in the Gryfindor camp.  I bet you'll get a lot of double takes wearing that.

I meant to wrap my presents in fabric too, but I ended up with less Christmassy fabric than I thought I had, so I had to make due with tissue paper and lots of ribbons.

Wrapping presents is actually one of my favorite things about Christmas.  My dad and brother had me wrap all of theirs for other people and this year, since I moved, they're both going "Linny, who are we going to get to wrap our presents this year?"

I received! Thank you so much, blushingbluegrass! I am in love with my new stocking and presents, but I'll have to wait to post pics until tomorrow... I just got home from a very long day of work and it's time for bed Wink I'll be back!

Holy illusion scarf!! I have never heard of this, but that is sooooo cool! Are there patterns out there for it or is there a tutorial for the technique?
