So this is my first project post and my first time completing such ambitious costuming.

Using Simplicity pattern 2525 and salvaged fabric, I created this wonderful 3 piece outfit complete with fully lined jacket and vest. The dear bf's coat was a re-con made from his old Matrix duster. We added braiding I picked up on eBay (10yards for $5) and some gold buttons.

The bf took some model paints and some actual clockworks from a broken clock, along with some store-bought findings and my awesome squirrel earrings that we deconstructed to create our "logo" (he has a matching tie pin in his cravat) to make 2 pair of awesome time-traveler's goggles.

Add top hat for him, a feather and parasol, and lace up Victorian boots (not shown) for me et voila... Steampunk Awesomeness.

Wow!
So cute.

The goggles are awesome.
I don't suppose we'll see a tutorial any time?

I have another set, and plenty of findings and paint left over. So, I can probably do that Smiley

But not right away. I don't even want to step foot in my craft room after this project. A malfunctioning machine and seams I sewed over and over again. Made me want to pull my hair out.  Undecided
