My daughter is only 3 months old, so after doing hours of Internet searching of figuring out what she should be for Halloween . . . she became a Cabbage Patch Doll!

I used a Route 44 cup box from Sonic to wrap around her stroller. After painting the box yellow and cutting it into shape of a Cabbage Patch Doll box, I printed out some Cabbage Patch Doll coloring pages, colored, cut and glued them to the box. I lined the inside of the box with some flowery gift wrap, lined the seat with a pink sheet, and I even added a "certificate" that included her name and birth date.
For her wig, I just sewed yard to one of her baby hats. I created a half-up / half-down pigtail hairstyle and added pink ribbon.

Everyone thought she was a REAL doll and we had to stop while trick or treating, I don't know HOW many times, because people wanted her picture!

I also created my 5 year old son's costume as the Transformer Bumblebee, and it actually transforms . . . but since I can only post one costume on here, I'm posting my daughter since her pictures came out better than my sons.
Thanks for looking and I hope everyone enjoys Alexis' first Halloween costume!

OMG I totally love this.

Congratulations on your new baby.

You deserve extra points for crafting with a newborn. There should be an acronym for that. CWN?

I went ahead and posted both of my kids costumes in the Halloween section. I also linked a video of my son "transforming" on there. Here's the link http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=326631.0
