Hi, I'm Tiffany.  Most on the forums know me as Mieljolie.  I created my costume, like most of my ren faire garb, out of tabistry (soda and beer can pull tabs) and other found and recycled materials.

The gloves are cut off socks, hair is acrylic yarn, and 99.9% of my accessories, including the "evil eye" headband which used to be a belt, all came from thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales.

I also made a matching mask that I have posted previously:

And, a cloak here:

Thanks for looking.  Hope you had an awesome Halloween!

Sorry about the pics not showing.  Darn bandwidth exceeded!

That is great! I love the colors and textures created with the tabs.

Thanks guys!  I had just as much of a blast making my costume as I did wearing it.

I have loved the look and feel of making things with tabs for a long time now.  I've got many more ideas lined up in my head.  And, now I think I may have to incorporate hair falls into more of my garb.  Smiley  There is just something fun about wearing them.  Being a pack rat, I really like hanging/wearing all the little shiney bits and beads in them.  I might just be pondering something Medusa-ish in my future.

Just wanted to apologize for the pic errors earlier.  Exceeded my bandwidth on Photobucket.  Didn't ever image that happening.  Anyway, they seem to be working fine now that I moved them to Flickr.

Thanks for looking.  I appreciate all comments and questions.

Amazing costume! I love the upcycling aspect and how wonderfully put together it is.

Oops!  Thank you.  Forgot to change out my avatar.  I just uploaded it directly to Craftster this time.  Should play nice now.  Smiley
