my finished puzzle looks so cool! i'm just at a total loss to how to display it. i want to hang it on my wall, but it's got 3d peices and i don't want to put it in a shadowbox type frame that will make them less noticeable. and i don't know where to take it to get it mounted, and i'm sure they're used to mounting flat things too. so for now it's sitting in a box.

Me too- I'm thinking of just glueing the pieces to the background when my puzzle is finished and framing it without glass so the 3-d parts can still be played with, but I'm a little worried about dust.

Sorry for being so long in posting.  I am loving all the pieces people are getting, and the finished puzzles look fabulous!

I've received my last three sets of pieces:

The incandescent one is really more purple than green,  and I love all the beads and bits she used!

I really like the blue and pink glittery one, and I wish I could paint small like the little blossoms.

I love the brown one.  It looks like a pile of leaves that I want to jump into.

And here's my puzzle after Round 2:

I have seven pieces to do, I'll do at least one, but I think I can get the rest done with friends and family, because I can't wait to start a themed puzzle in the next round!  I'm just thrilled with this one, now I just have to figure out how I'm going to display it!

And here are some pieces I've sent that I know have been received:
for gala_apples.  Reading/books themed:

The red one is just reading/book related pictures from French and Russian language books I have, and the one on the right is thesaurus entries for read, word, and journey.  I always photograph my own stuff on dictionary pages, and that one really blends right in to the page!

and for lindsayrose.  Grunge themed:

I'm so happy with the way the left one turned out.  It's a new technique I tried out, laying paint on really thick and then mushing it around under a piece of plastic wrap and letting it dry like that.  It's really texturey, and it was the first idea I had when I heard her theme.

I'm glad you like them. I used a teeny tiny paint brush. I'm not very good at painting, but I seem okay at that type of thing!

No I haven't got them yet. There have been quite a few disruptions due to the weather and things are taking longer than usual, so I wouldn't worry.

your puzzle is wonderful!  Funny how some puzzles seem to be of one main color so the whole puzzle looks "red" for instance...your puzzle almost has a subdued look--not pastel but not bright...do you know what I mean?  It is very stunning and should be displayed when finished!

Seeuudee's pieces are very metallic looking--stunning

I am also amazed at how tiny some of the painting has been--wow...

The brown "leaves" are one of my favorite looks!
