I got 2 more pieces today. I can't wait for my puzzle to be done!  You all are making great pieces!

From QueenNinjaMonkey:

Two of my all-time favorite images... Coexist and Hands coming together!  Thank you!

And I finally finished a couple of the pieces myself:

I actually received these pieces from MunLtStmpr a little while ago, but in the chaos of it all, forgot to post them. Sorry, Mun!
My theme is trees and she did one piece with a quote that I love:
I love the tree and the apple!
And then this one just rocks:

I thas bits of trim that are just gorgeous and these glittery dimensional leaf stickers- I can't get a photo to do it justice, but here's a closer pic:

Love, love, love them!!!

Your tree theme is so awesome!

As usual, MunLTStmpr has done a beautiful job!  I love those gel sticker leaves--and the saying on the other piece is so wise and wonderful!

Can't wait until you get all your pieces!

I'm so glad you like it!  your piece was the very first one I got an idea for.  originally I had wanted to do "I made you some cookies, but I eated them", but I'm not that good with polyclay just yet.  I had wanted to leave little "cookie" crumbs on the piece.  Cheesy  but upon looking through my collection of saved pictures from the icanhascheezburger website, I came across the kitty in the box and remembered that I had tiny screws from a broken watch that I took apart for the parts (and never used them thank goodness).  and there you have "some assemblies required".  Grin Grin

here's the picture I took (I remembered this time):

MUN!  YOU MUST TELL ME WHERE YOU GOT THOSE LEAVES!!!!!!!!!  I NEED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have a bit of an obsession with leaves...it's not like I have a tattoo of leaves or anything.  Roll Eyes

I had no clue she was a favorite.  I just had a set of Martha Stewart glitters sitting beside me and one of the colors is called "fire opal" or something with the word fire in it so I decided to use her.  Grin  yours was the piece that I decided to do upside-down.*  Embarrassed  I'm just glad I realized it before I finished it.  here's another picture:

I'm glad you like her!

*no comic books were harmed in the making of this piece.

lol

not a problem.  Grin  I'm not much of a comic geek (more manga than comics for some reason even though I do love comic book super heroes/villans), but I can't even begin to imagine cutting up either one.  it would be like cutting up my video game strategy guides.  Cheesy  I won't even tear the posters out of them!

I'm not great at taking pictures either.  it took many tries to get a good one of audio's piece and ohio's red piece.  they kept getting washed out by the flash too.  it's just a matter of trial and error, seeing what lighting/flash combo works.  oh, and keeping a steady hand.  lol.  ask my mom.  she thought she needed a new camera because her pictures were so blurry, turns out she likes to move just as the picture is being taken.  if she waits until the review comes up before moving, they turn out fine.  Cheesy

I got them in a dollar store in a near by town that I go out to once in a while called Yankee One Dollar Store.  It is a chain, but that's the only one I've ever seen.  It's MUCH nicer than Dollar Tree so it's a good thing that it's not so close by.  They were the last pack left and the stickers are all less than a dollar.

Krafty, that image and the glitter are perfect for each other!

I read this tip that might help photo-taking... to reduce the shakes, take the picture with the timer setting.  Usually, when folks depress the shutter button to take the picture, they end up shaking the camera.  By using the timer option, the button pushing comes before the picture's taken.

I love seeing everyone's puzzles coming together!
