I received great pieces from Krafty_Karasu yesterday.

The glitter is so SO enticing and the texture of the orange base is hypnotic.   Your interpretation of the theme in the orange piece is something that I really wanted in my puzzle and you did it so well.  And I LOVE how the glitter frames "common misconceptions."

Thank you so much!

I am really glad that you like them so much.  Smiley

I was almost stuck, but the more I looked around and thought about the theme, the easier it got to come up with something.

and those are real rose petals too.  I don't know who gave me the roses, all I know is one day I opened my dictionary and there they were smushed between 2 pieces of paper.  lol.  I have others I had planned on using, but they were a little harder to get to so I kinda lucked out when I found those ones.  Tongue

can't wait to see the finished puzzle!!!

I received from the fabulous PirateColey - a great Craftster pal, a terrific swapper and in this case an angel for me in this swap:

The dark piece is called "Crafty Woman" - one of her "boobs" broke but I quickly glued it back on - how Californian! And the red piece is called "Silk" and has threads running across the top. Is that Crystal Glaze I spy? Love that shiny stuff. THANKS SO MUCH NICOLE!!! Great additions to my sewing-themed puzzle.

Are people keeping their themes secret until they reveal the puzzle?  I know that I am not sure of many of the themes yet!

I am also a big fan of krafty karasu's pieces! They are so full of detail and mystery! Lots of gorgeous texture!

and, I love the sewing theme--I am definitely stealing that one in one of the next rounds!  I drool over buttons and the boob one made me smile!  What a perfect piece of puzzle--ha ha --the shape called for boobs!

I've misplaced the piece I recieved from sweety, so if you have a pic of it please post it! My craft room is a disaster since we just had a remodel and alot of the stuff got put down there. So I'll be looking for it, but until then...

It's also for the lolcat theme, there is a cat in the box all jumbled up. There are actually tiny screws on the peice so the scan doesn't show it too well.
