This has nothing to do with anything you all are talking about:  sg1psychopath--your kitty in your atavar (is that the right word?  Novice, here.) picture looks just like my kitto Neville.  Does your kitty whine and beg for fresh, dripping sink water from the "pond of your hand" like Nevvy does?
Now, back to the point--that 3D globe puzzle is really cool.
I also love the idea of keeping the little girl unaltered in the ringlet puzzle.
I really wish I'd taken a picture of my unaltered puzzle before sending it.  Too many pieces are gone now to tell what it looked like.
Oh, yeah--now I know what lolcats are.  I thinks I has 1.

No he doesn't, though that sounds really cute! He whines and begs for the dentabix treats we give him though, and will chase them around the room. He's a crazy cat is our Matt  Cheesy

Oh! I didn't even know we had a gallery yet!! I'd post a picture of my "before" puzzle, but it's blank and very boring. Won't be for long though!!

And Audio... the hardest part of yours is narrowing down my choices. My husband and I are huge ICHC fans.  Cheesy  I could do, like, 10 pieces for you- no problem.

-----------

And I'm so in love with the idea of altered puzzles that I've already picked out my theme for the next round.  Grin

------------

As a side note... wouldn't it be a cute idea to do a guest-book style altered puzzle for, like, graduations, birthdays, or weddings? Leave the puzzle pieces in a big bowl with markers and what-not and let everyone sign their names, well wishes, and drawings... then assemble and frame as a keep-sake.

If I ever have a party, I am totally doing this, it would be so awesome!  I kind of hate guest books because I never know what to write, but this would be really fun.

After a fraught weekend, the last charity shop I went to had a cute, and cheap, Winnie the Pooh puzzle. I feel bad for taking it away from some little girl or boy...but not that bad...I was having trouble finding anything and didn't want to flake my first swap  Wink

My pieces are going out today so hopefully should be received this week...hoping to receive mine too, got next weekend planned for lots of crafting, yay!

Yeah, I made a whoop sound in the charity shop. The pieces are a really good size too, not small and fiddly. I also went on to find some old trashy Mills and Boon Romance novels one entitled 'Bought: For his Convenience, or Pleasure?' (for crafting with, and may be a sneaky read) which made me whoop even louder. I think the sales assistant was a little scared of me!

I'm starting to wish I'd picked a more cohesive theme but I can't wait to see my partners interpretations of their favourite song so it's all good. I still have lots more pieces left, ready for a round 3  Smiley

acrosstheuniverse, that should be fun to work with! Are the little figures (Pooh, Tigger, etc) actually attached to the pieces?
There's an etsy seller who refurbishes seriously battered books to make journals and she uses a lot of old, really cheesy romances. They absolutely crack me up- I bought one for my best friend but i don't think she found it nearly as funny as I do.  Sad
'Bought: For his Convenience, or Pleasure?'
sounds like a perfect candidate for that!

I love the lolcat pieces and can't wait to see the finished puzzle. I would definitely hang it up- it would make me grin everyday (much like ICHC does!).

No, that's why the puzzle pieces have little slots in them which I'm hoping won't be a problem for you guys. The figures slot in and out. I've kept them, should come in handy for another swap.

I've only just discovered lolcats, good fun.
