It's so lovely! It's happy and mellow at the same time.

This looks magnificent. I've already bookmarked your project for later inspiration. Plus, what a wonderful way to use up scraps. Wink

This is beautiful, I bet it's inspiring hanging on your wall. How long did it take you to complete it?

Someone may have already said this, but it reminds me of a klimt painting.

I haven't thought about Klimt as I did this, but love that you see that connection! there is such a richness to Klimt's work.

thanks for that- I am trying very much to make my craft room a sanctuary of sorts, so am using colors and fabrics that I will want to keep looking at through the cold dreary winter in my midwest home. About how long it took- I was pretty motivated (ahem.. obsessed?) the first week so I spent about every free moment stitching. The second week not so much, so I really couldn't say how many hours. I stitch pretty quickly and intentionally choose designs that have a lot of leeway for crooked, uneven stitches. Even the design was pretty freestyle. I just cut out round shapes. No worries about it being an actual circle or anything.

That's a LOT of sewing. I'm very impressed. Good job!

I'm looking for Simplicity 6340 (the 1970's sailor dress). PM me if you've got a copy to swop or sell! Cheesy
