After making so many costumes for other people, I started feeling guilty that I was going to make the girl go Trick or Treating in the Cinderella dress I made for her birthday. So Monday night before Halloween, I figured out what to make for her: Perry the Platypus from Phineas & Ferb. It started with a basic body suit pattern, then I made the gloves, feet and headpiece on the fly. Here are the results:

And since we wanted to be a themed family, I dressed as Perry's arch-nemesis, the Evil Dr Doofenschmirtz. This costume consisted of gray pants, black turtleneck, a lab coat which I embroidered with "Heinz" and "Doofenschmirtz Evil, Inc." and a custom headpiece. I also carried a modified toy gun to become the "Insipidinator 6000."

And the husband wasn't left out - he dressed as Danny from Love Handel (pretty much the house band on P&F):

A pic of the whole clan:

Nice job.  I'm impressed with how you've captured Perry with the eyes.  So good.

This is so good. I almost did a Candice costume for my 3 year old but she decided on a princess instead.
