[FINISHED] Craft Challenge #45 - Super Ugly to Super Awesome Rd 2 - Dc 1 - Dec 5

  How about if I didn't buy the thing at the thrift store, but ruined something by burning holes in it, making it trash, and then finding a way to turn the ugly burn holes into the focal point? This is the case with a piece of clothing I was re-making. I could always go to the thrift-store to buy some ugly stuff to finish the outfit with... would that be  OK? "cause if it is, I think I have myself a project!
  Or, how about something I already started but haven't finished yet, that was super ugly from the thrift store? That was an ugly 80's...... that I am planning to turn into a pretty.....Do I have to actually go and spend new money?

It would be best to use something from the thrift store rather than trashing something you already have.  Whether you went to the thrift store and got it for this particular challenge or not, we'll never really know, but it would be ideal if you did.

  Ok. It's just that a silk skirt I was re-making had an accident with my stencil burner, and in the car yesterday, a light-bulb went off in my head, and I saw a way to turn it into a masterpiece! But, I won't use it for this!
Otherwise, I don't know If I have time to go get anything ready, with a swap to finish up by the 5th!

I scored a truck load, yes a truck load of free leftover estate sale items, to include some utensils, lots of fabric, notions, ugly lamps with no shades, toys, books, etc. I will have to figure out which is the ugliest, and figure out a make over plan. I can always use it for a gift for someone. (They will never know)

There were a lot of books and fabric so maybe I can fashion some type of shade? Got me thinking now. My last straw challenge fizzled. Anyone need some plastic straws.

  My favorite kind of challenge...and I don't know if I can hang, no money and no time  .  Next round!
