 Grin Hello everyone, this year I decided to go as medusa, I don't have pictures of the whole procedure but I can tell you that the headpiece with the snakes is a wig that I bought and then I got a bunch of different sized and coloured snakes from the dollar store.
At first I decided to attach them with a wire in the shape of a wreath and after that I attached more and more with safety pins onto the wig directly plus a ton more hot glue and wire.


The dress is just an evening dress that was 10 dollars from "Winners", the cape is actually a belly dancing skirt that I secured with 2 greek style brooches. I also added a touch of gold ribbon to my mid section to create a more greek look.


As for my makeup I used gold leaf that is used for gilding that I glued on with liquid latex, I used it to make it look like a snake shedding skin. I also got green contacts to complete the look.

Gahh!! Creepy-cool, I must say! I love the golden makeup... it shows up looking kinda like snake scales/ snakeskin, which looks awesome. I love the detail with the brooches, and the wig is truly scary. Mad props to you!!  Grin

thats really cool
looks very pretty

i dressed up as medusa a few years ago but aparently there was no rubber snakes in dublin so i ahd to use candy ones! ha!
