Hooray! My first challenge entry!!

I made this costume for my 11-year-old. We started with an old 80's era prom dress and I dyed it black, then took the skirt off and added almost 12 yards of chiffon in various shades of gray. We glued the spiders on and shredded the whole thing.

Better shot of the spiders...

Spinny shot because she's 11 and likes to spin...

The original dress... so 80s...

Ms. Thing looking all moody...

Was that your old prom dress - what a cool way to remake it and have your daughter use it. I like the fabric additions and how it spins so well. Beautiful.

Soo cute.  I bet she loved this costume!  You better tell her that I said she has a super cool mom with mad-crafting skills!  Her costume looks better than those expensive store-bought ones.  Pat yourself on the back momma.....you did good!!  LOL!
