so this idea got concocted when  i was watching the ninja turtle movies with my boyfriend over the summer reminiscing about the good ole days  Smiley.   Michelangelo was my favorite ninja turtle as a kid plus i though he ha the coolest weapon so that was an easy choice.

the entire costume was made by me with the exception of the fishnets which i found at walmart. Thankfully it was a pretty cheap costume to make i rummaged through my mom's fabric stash for all of the fabric and stuffing, and only had to buy the supplies for nun chucks.

i forgot to get a picture of the shell, but it was all hand sewn because i couldn't figure out how to sew two poofy things together, also it's got a secret pocket for my keys, cellphone, ID and money
That's the closest i have to a picture of the shell. it was also after i slung my nun chucks too hard.

and just because they've my first pair of shoes and i'm proud of them here are my turtle shoes

it was a fun costume and i got alot of complements throughout the night, especially when people found out i made it myself.

thanks for looking.
