Truly awesome!  As soon as I saw the quote, I almost screamed - it's Miss Frizzle!  Even in high school, I would find myself watching that show...terribly entertaining it was...!

I used to try to dress like miss frizzle as a kid. This was my favorite of her outfits. The dress is so cute you could wear it even not as a costume!

But then you put all the accessories with it and wham! Super cute costume!

I live by Ms. Frizzle's rules! You did a great job and picked such a great/unique character. Did people realize who you were?

So great!!
I have a lot of curly hair too; it took me years to learn how to handle all the frizz!
Awesome job on the costume, and I love your avatar!

Thanks to everyone for being so amazingly supportive!  This was definitely my first homemade costume and I love that everyone is so positive! Smiley

RougeRaven, when I went out it was kind of odd because pretty much anyone into their thirties didn't really know who I was.  I have to tell you though, when someone would ask me who I was and I'd say, "Remember the Magic School Bus?" you'd see the recognition click in their face and I generally got a response like "OH SHI-!  I WISH YOU HAD THE LIZARD!"  Then I'd hold up Liz and get an even funnier reaction! haha.  There was a handfull of people who knew me right off the bat... I went into one bar and I swear two girls screamed for at least five minutes! lol, it was definitely an interesting night!

This is actually pure genius. Soo fantastic! I love Miss Frizzle - I gotta dig out some of my old books when I get home sometime. Love how simple/crafty it was, yet how clean and professional the final product looked.

Also, not gonna lie, I dig those giant star earrings haha.

Haha, it's really funny that you got those reactions - I recognized it but didn't know who it was at first, but then it's SUCH a kick to realize, haha.
