So, I got my awesome stuff last week, and have been bad about putting up pictures. You guys just have to see my awesome new needle book from alwaysinmyroom. It's so cute and everything I wanted in a needle book!

There are actually two needle books. The first one I found was a blue, one of my fav colors, paint card folded up with felt stapled inside to make it into a very creative, and pretty needle book. There's also a bar of soap, that smells great, and will work well for waking me up in the morning. It's strong. Oh, but then there's the owl needle book. It's CUTE! I love the fabric, it's perfect. I couldn't stop looking at it.

Here it is open with some good needles. I've been using crappy ones from Wal-Mart for months now. They work, but are bent out of shape by the time I finish a project. They're just that thin. These though, these ones are different. I look forward to using them. Also, the inside is blue. It's such a bright, beautiful blue. There was also a pencil, a post card from Hersey's circa 1950's, and a card that made me feel special and loved. I normally have awful birthdays, but this one was pretty good.  Cheesy

Oh, I have a card for you alwayinmyroom, I just haven't written in it yet. I want it to be as nice as the card you sent me.

Happy Birthday again and again...!!!

Riechan, the nest ring looks great on you - so glad it fits! And that your friend recognised it! Congrats on the pierced ears too - very pretty! And think of all the nice earrings you'll be able to wear in a few weeks.

That owl needle book is completely gorgeous too - and I bet the soap smells amazing!!

I received my present from PaleAngelLex today!  She sent me 3, count them, 3! embroidered dish towels.  I  certainly wasn't expecting that many! Aren't they adorable?

All three together.  Now for some close ups of the pretty fairies!

The cute card, in case you can't read it, it says -  "Day" is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's still applicable, so I got you something.       Who's geeky enough to know what that is based on?  First I went, "Huh?" Since it isn't an exact quote, but immediately went "Oh, awesome!"  Thanks so much PAL, they are a great Birthday present and I love them.  The purple one is already hanging up! Thanks for the nice presentation too, that's something I need to work on myself.  Each was tied with curling ribbon and all were wrapped up with tissue paper.  But I couldn't wait to see what was on them long enough to take a picture.  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

I'm so happy you got everything! I knew you would get the quotation eventually if not right away. I wanted to wrap you towels, because all birthday gifts should be wrapped, but I didn't have any paper. I'm happy you like everything.

Ooh I received my presents from Faren today! Everything is so amazing. I love my shirts Grin You will have to wait till tonight for pictures , when my husband quits working. Even the one she claims went wrong is adorable. I can't wait to show my husband, he doesn't much like my rats Cheesy She even included some great buttons. I already have ideas for both sets, the red set will be added to a bag for my niece and the stamped set I am going to make into a mobile somehow....

Thank you so much Faren! I loved receiving after my birthday, it makes it last that much longer Smiley

Oh,good! I'm so happy you like them, do they fit halfway decently?  He doesn't like rats?  I picked the right saying then, huh?  Wink   Glad you figured out something to do with the buttons, sounds like some good ideas!

Don't worry PAL, I didn't wrap my presents to Craftsy either, just layered tissue paper in there.

alwaysinmyroom, I know, right? I figured I would get one towel, two if I was lucky, but 3? That definitely counts as above and beyond.  I do a little embroidery myself, so I know it takes some time! They are so delicate, and I love how you can tell they are a set, but each is very different.
