Last year I posted about needing help with making a girlie mummy costume (my 2 year old daughter didn't have much hair and I didn't want to hear how cute my son was all night.)

And then I procrastinated . . . and then I went into labor 2 days before Halloween and the costume was never made.

So this year, I figured we'd give it another shot  Now she's got plenty of hair, but I still wanted her to look girlie.

I used a long sleeved white onsesie and added a circle skirt.  Then it was just a matter of sewing (and in some places, hot gluing) torn strips of fabric on.  The skirt also has a layer of cheesecloth, and a layer of strips hanging down.

I like it.  We got a lot of compliments on our ghost, or bride, so I guess it wasn't perfectly mummy looking!

And I didn't make the skeleton costume, but he's the stinker that messed up mommy's best laid (procrastination) plans last year.
