I crocheted this piece for my Art In Context class.
It is fully functional sans the dildo.

The strap is functional. One could slip in a real dildo and be completely comfortable.

Hehe, about time we get a strap-on in the crochet section after the needlework board already had theirs Grin I like the reduced look and the color choice. Can you tell us about the reactions you got? How do non-crocheters respond to it?

I received positive feedback from my classmates. By now, they're used to my work. Most of it deals with sexuality, gender roles, race and "other-ness." I even got some great suggestions on how I might direct or extend (no pun intended) this work. My professor said, "I can see this being used in a performance or video, and the participants being frustrated..." Yeah, she's great! You can view my professor's work at www.hayleybarker.com.
