I have a baby coming in February and I was really frustrated trying to find a bag I liked, so I just decided to make one.  It's based off the Jordy bag pattern, with pockets similar to the Amy Butler Everything Bag.  I added three bottle pockets because I have a son already and I need to carry his sippy cups around too, so I need a lot of bottle pockets.  I added velcro to the inside because I am making a changing kit that I want to be able to attach to the inside if I want.  Actually, I made one already, but it came out all wonky, so I didn't put it in the picture.  I also added a little flap to it because I didn't want it to be just completely open, but I thought a zipper might be a bit too difficult when I have two kids yelling at me for something.

Anyway it's a great project if you have done the jordy bag and want to customize it into a diaper bag.  If any of you want a tutorial, let me know.

You could add velcro loops on the outside of the handles. That way, you can attach the bag to the handle of a stroller or shopping cart.

It looks really good!

You did a great job on ur diaper bag!!  I have a 5 week old (my third  Grin ) and I did a diaper bag over the summer.

I love the fabric you chose and the overall look of the outside of your bag is beautiful.  I think the tab will give you a little extra give in the bag when you try to close it.  Keep us posted on how actually "using" it works out! Smiley
