AFTER PEOPLE HAVE SIGNED UP AND BEEN APPROVED, LIST THE PARTICIPANTS HERE AND WHO IS SENDING TO WHOM:
YOU CANNOT PARTICIPATE UNLESS YOU PM ME AND I ADD YOU TO THE LIST!
***PLEASE! Do not claim someone while waiting for approval!*** You may claim as soon as you get confirmation from me.
Do not sign up if you are currently late in sending in the previous Ongoing ATC Swap.
You can sign up at any time during the month. Once all of your claims have been received you can request to be removed from the swap and I will issue feedback.
How This Swap Works:
Please READ CAREFULLY! This swap works differently than most!
Try to imagine a chain. The first link is the first person whose theme list is on page 1 (Person A) – (this will be the organizer as will the last wish closing out the swap)
Now, we want to put another link in the chain. People will read that list and see if they want to make an ATC from that list.
Someone (Person B) will claim Person A for an ATC made in the theme of one of the items on their theme list. They post a reply to the thread that says “I claim Person A for a [fill in the blank] ATC. This is my X claim (however many times they have picked someone – for example, "this is my fourth claim, with one sent, and three received,” (meaning that this is the fourth claim they've made, one is in transit to it's destination, and three of the items have been received by the people they previously claimed). Also be sure to add your location to your list of themes so that people can decide if they want to claim someone overseas or not. You may want to add anything that you may not like to receive.
IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY WITH YOUR STATUS WHEN YOU CLAIM SOMEONE! This means you need to post who you are claiming and for what, how many claims you have made, including how many in transit and how many received.
Then comes the fun part! After the introduction, Person B is the last link in the chain, and they post their theme list!!! Be sure to PM the person you have claimed for their address. Or you can PM the person who claimed you and send them your address.
EXAMPLE POST:
I claim Person A for a zombie ATC. This is my 3rd claim, 2 sent, 1 received
I live in Massachusetts, USA . I would prefer not to receive anything violent, political, or religious. My themes are:
1) funny foods
2) polka dots
3) monster movies
4) The letter E
5) cats
Along comes Person C, who claims Person B for something on their list and the chain is built, link by link.
When you want to make a claim, you can ONLY pick from the very last theme list in the chain. You can't pick anyone else in the chain - you can only connect to the very end of the chain, which is that last wish list posted.
Friends of Craftster are allowed 10 claims at one time, others are allowed 7 wishes. If this is your first swap, you are only allowed one claim. When that claim is received you can then claim the number of times you are allowed depending on your membership status. If you already have one claim that will be sent out late, please don't claim again until that one is sent out. You DO NOT need a DCN for this swap, but if your ATC is not received, you will need to resend.

If you are at your limit of claims, you can choose again once one of your partners receives, NOT when you send.
***Do not claim someone unless you can fulfill that wish to a high caliber***
Let's keep the quality of work high people! Send something you would like to receive if you were the recipient.
Now if the thread gets in a rut for a few days/hours, the person who made the last claim should add to their theme list if they can think of anything else, until someone decides to craft for them. Please make sure this is not you!
After receiving your ATC, be sure to post a picture of it in the gallery. You will not receive feedback until you do. If you are having camera troubles, be sure to tell the person who has claimed you so that they can take a picture before sending.
Communication is a GOOD thing. If you are having issues, please tell the organizer and the person you have claimed. Poor communication will be noted in feedback.
