I made the acorn and then realized it couldn't stand up because the bottom is pointed (oops).  So I made a little oak leaf bowl to set it in.

The acorn is cut from green paper.   I dabbed a little brown stamp pad ink on the top part of each piece before assembling.

You can print the PDF out and cut by hand--I just use regular scissors, or you can use a craft knife.  Or send the DXF or GSD file to a cutting machine.
