Eliea - That is one awesome score!

Thanks for all the hugs. You guys are the best. I've been super whiney today. My respiratory issues have flared up again and I woke up with a VERY swollen throat. I could barely breathe. I have a feeling it's going to be a really bad winter. Sad

I did get to see Regina Spektor live the other night though and enjoy margaritas during. (I don't know if I mentioned this already.) It was AWESOME. She's such a fantastic live performer. Sounds just like her albums.

We just got back from a choir concert with all the local school groups and it was so cute and good. So I'm going to have a glass of wine and maybe felt these dreads I have going. Maybe just bed. Maybe more wine then bed. Yes... Cheesy

Eliea- spray the sticker with Goo Gone or Painters Pal (which is made by Goo Gone, I think) and let it soak 5-10 minutes, and it should come off the glass pretty easily.

That citrus stuff (super concentrated oil?) works on sticker goo too.

I added a few discharged and overdyed shirts to my shop in various colors and sizes:

SML, what are the felty lookin things in pictures 12 & 13? they look perty. I've been seriously thinking about making some felted dreads every since I cut my real ones off. and you make them look so cute! that might just have to be my next project...

Love, can't wait to see the pillows! I'm on a total pillow kick right now cause we're moving stuff around and sort-of redecorating.

Nesse - Those are the beginnings of my felted cowls. They need to be refelted (because I'm a noob) and then I'm thinking of sewing some really soft fabric to the insides and decorating them with hand embroidery, beading and vintage lace & buttons. A couple are thin and a couple of them are thick and warm. They're all soft. They all have lots of bamboo and firestar. I've made two from the mini batts that I claimed from lapoli. They were big enough to make one larger cowl and one small one. The small one is the orange one on the end. I added in firestar, merino and bamboo. The purple in it is awesome. Very sparkly. The cream one is my favorite. It is from SSS mill ends, merino, bamboo, firestar and has cuts of vintage lace felted under the merino/bambo/firestar. It's the thickest. I may keep it.

The last pictures are of dreads for more extensions. They are from this batt that CamOovas sent me in the last fiber swap. It is a blue/purple/white batt made with wool and the white is nylon. (Nylon is AMAZING. She sent me a sample and I get it out to feel how soft it is. I'm saving it.) The pictures are from when they were still wet. So they are much lighter than what they look like there. These will be about 2-3 sets worth ranging from about 6-10 inches. They will also be much thinner than the ones already made and felted more. Then I'll decide what to attach them to. When I get them done I will post some more pictures. I'm going to be putting this stuff up in my Etsy shop next year. So I thought I'd try them out here first.

Yummy marshmallows...I may have eaten half a jar of marshmallow cream last night to cure my blues. It didn't work but it tasted darn good! Nollies is looking beautiful. You are amazing me lxm! That plus all the knitting and I'd be one exhausted lady. I guess having a kid gives you that mindset. It takes so much just to get to a drive thru. lol

SML--that white cowl is calling my name *purrrrr*

reminds me of this scarf i saw at the farmers market

i need to learn to felt... i have too many things that need to be felted
like this....

the nollie's thing happens because i keep really odd hours, i guess. I get up at noon, stay up til 4... you know. haha

I am pretty excited with how it's going. I am starting to think of people to hire, things are getting CLEAN, etc etc. It's mind-boggling.

I can't wait to see the cowls, SML.

LxM, that is one cute cloud. I wisted it immediately.  Smiley

The scarves from the farmer's market are pretty. I wonder how that would work with either a fulled thrifted sweater or boiled woven wool. Every garment at my local thrift is 25 cents right now. The sweaters are harder to find now, but there are tons of ugly coats and blazers in nice colors that I wouldn't feel bad about cutting up and felting down.

What happens when you felt a woven fabric? Anyone here have experience with it?
