So what's on the Christmas lists then?  Give me some ideas of things to make for my shop!

I'm hungry... who wants to bring me dinner?  I apparently spent our entire budget until next Friday at HomeDepot buying the stuff we needed for this project that my husband basically forced us into getting done ASAP... so now I am not being fed.  BOOOOOOOO.

I'm starving right now. The boytoy is cooking up some yummy sausages right now.

Also I have one more set of awesome octopus costume pictures to put up hehe

Just me being generally ridiculous spinning around the office and such. The one with me sitting shows my desk a little. My shark baby is on my shoulder (it was taped to the wall before). Also it's hard to see but I tied bits of yarn to my hair that look somewhat like seaweed - my coworkers got it. I actually really love the necklace I put together on a whim from MLF's awesome handspun. I'll definitely be wearing it again in the future  Grin

I need some hanging kitchen towel thingies for some of the people on my list. My MIL loves hydrangeas, so if anyone has a scrap piece of fabric with them on it to use for the top part, that would be perfect for her.  Smiley

Your costume turned out great, sheepBlue! I love it!

sheepBlue, I love how your octopus costume turned out!  I was planning on making some kind of costume this year to dress up in during trick or treating but I havn't been feeling well so I'll probably not even dress up.

Thanks guys! The conversations that we get up to in work would certainly raise some eyebrows sometimes LOL. It's the best group of people I've ever worked with so I'm happy  Cheesy

CC - that knitted condom is hilarious! I wonder if anyone has seriously tried to use it before (hopefully not for preventative purposes lol).

Sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather sarah. I would guess that the total time for me to put the costume together was probably along the lines of 5ish hours broken up through a couple of days. It's not too difficult to throw together something at the last minute if you start to feel better! I think next year I might be a camp counselor or something. I saw a really hilarious camp shirt that had bloody hand prints and splashes all over it - zombie plague loose yet? And it would simply be a stenciled shirt with jeans. At least for at work. If I have any plans for Halloween itself I'd definitely have to step it up.

great costume sB! I somehow forgot all about halloween this year, so the extent of my "dressing up" will be a highlighter orange collared shirt. and I might wear some silly things from the dollar store that I work at.

is anyone interested in acrylic button shanks? http://www.buttonshanks.com/ I can get 100 of 'em for $10 but I don't really need that many...

I added some small felt sheets for sewing projects to my shop, plus these book purses:

I'm not entirely happy with the snap closures - they work, but tend to be stressful on the lining.
