Amazing job - I would never have seen the coolness lurking within a boxy old coat like that!  I totally understand on the lacking most of the crafting essentials, too - it can be limiting.  Sad  The bottom edges do look pretty unfinished, though - are they fraying badly?  If you're a semi-speedy hand-sewer, some light blue edge binding tape (to match the ties on the front, that great bow on the back and the awesome pocket hanky) might work to both finish the bottom edge there and really tie the whole look together...  Just a suggestion, as I think it looks great without.  Wink

I love this ringmaster look!

And I will give you my little secret to sewing in my tiny apartment.

A Hair straightener and Stitch Witchery.

Unless of course you have an actual iron.

This has done me wonders.

I love it. The ringmaster look is in.

Although I have to be a nerdface and admit I like the original jacket too. Eek!
IT'S GREEN

I have to say I do too...Its cool in an oldskool kinda way, just really old. Love the recon, its very good, especially since you have no sewing machine Cheesy
