Here's my latest sewingproject and my first time ever making childrens clothing. Its an ensemble (pants and sweater) for my cousins nephew.

Its going to be a christmas present, and I have bought a fleece fabric for making the real thing, but made this "test ensemble" out of old sheets. I was supposted to keep it as a test version, but now that its finished I'm considering giving it a way anyhow. What do you think? Is the fabric to bright?

I've used a Burda pattern (9716), adding elastic band at the sleeves and legs. The sheets are in cotton.

What do you think?

C&C most welcome!

Thanks!  Smiley I think I'll give wrap it up and make it a present then. The pattern was really easy to follow, I ordered it online at burda fashion. It wasnt expensive either! I really got inspired to make more childrens clothing after this one:)

I think it's awesome!  You should give it away.  I love bright colors and I think it would look so adorable on a little girl!  Great job.
