Thanks for the kind comments about the quilt. It was one of those projects that popped into my head already completed. JoAnn's cooperated by having all the fabrics I needed, or at least something close.

Thanks, I love the feedback! I'm glad you are so happy with it. I have admired the mini art quilts from the last round. Maybe I will have to get in on the mini quilt swap one of these days.

I love that the Doomsday book was turned into a "secret" book- great use for a book you'll never read again I also really like the wineglasses and the flying book pendant.

That bleached t-shirt is so cool! And, I love the painted panels, too!

I received a very well stalked (and well stocked!) package. First, some coffee (decaf, even!), cocoa and shortbread cookies (my absolute favorite cookie) for sipping an nibbling whilst reading.



Then, a painted teapot that reads, "Find a book, Pour a cup of tea, Relax and Read" which is totally on the agenda for Veterans' Day.



Next, more stalking is evident in the bookmark made with a frog charm and Swarovski crystals. Perfect! And, a fabulous book-shaped box with a starfish on the front...



And on the back... An octopus and a quote from a poem in one of the stories in our book, "I sit at the bottom of sleep, As on the floor of the sea, And fanciful citizens of the deep, Are graciously greeting me." Awesome connection to the book, especially since it was such a tough book to find craft ideas for!

I received my box from banga and all I can say is "WOW." It was such an amazing box! Thank you!! Normally I dislike using thumbnails, but I took a TON of pictures!

This is what I saw when I opened the box:

A tea party kit!!


A menu with lovely recipes I cannot wait to try.


A custom tea tin! There picture of Alice is on a tea bag string/label. So cool!


Homemade jam! As a preserving fiend, this was definitely a hit!


Tea party invitations! I host Mothers' Day tea every year so I will definitely be using these!!


Easily the coolest item in the box. It's a hand-bound book made from recycled card catalog cards! It's both green and English nerdtastic!


Homemade cookies!! (see next pic...)


(excuse the messy hair and goofy look) I'm only mildly embarrassed to say the cookies did not survive the night. Between the three of us they disappeared fast.

World Market is the best! They have such fun (and super-yummy) stuff there.

craftADDchick, you were a lot of fun to swap with. I'm so sorry only 1 of my items tied in to the book.    With the book box, the octopus with the "bubbles" is the front and the box can be placed on the shelf along with your regular books. That was the "secret" part of my teaser.
