I added some more picsof the quilt to my above post so you all could see some close-ups. I was too excited before to get it posted to take enough pics!

I actually got my other package today too! I received from luckdragon today! We were in the short story group, and she managed to tie every item into the book. Very tricky lady lol!   Cool

The short stories were set in Canada in...wow I'm bad with years...the 1920s to 1940's...ish? Someone correct me, I'm sure that's not accurate.

She made me an awesome knit drop stitch (is that the name?) scarf in colors I love! I had something similar on my wist! Resting on top of it is a great clutch. I am obsessed with clutches and this one is super cute, with a rose on it and pretty lining!

And, and! A journal with a Canadian map on it and a moose! I can never have enough journals. never. AND! an amazing check book cover in fabric that I love, with a pen holder on the outside! I've wanted a pretty checkbook holder for so long and I love it!

And, to top it off with, some great knitting books! There are some great projects in here!

Thank you so much hon!

Holy cow! I love the Alice and Rabbit embroideries and the teacup pin cushion. Am totally in love with the quilt (and I was actually inspired to order the book from Amazon so I could read it)! I also covet the journal and scarf!

I am one step closer to finishing up! I have to bust out the sewing machine on Thursday and then I should be able to send on Friday...

I received my swap package from poppymonkey. We were both in the Sci-Fi group, and we both had a mutual dislike for the book we had to read, so we decided to go with a general book theme.

First up is a set of etched wine glasses. It's hard to tell from my picture, but those are books on the glasses

Next is a book safe made from poppymonkey's copy of the Doomsday Book( the book we had to read for the group) and a really cool necklace.

Here is a close up of the necklace- it has flying books and butterflies on it!

Thank you for the very nice package poppymonkey

Thanks for the kind comments about the quilt. It was one of those projects that popped into my head already completed. JoAnn's cooperated by having all the fabrics I needed, or at least something close.  Grin

I love the flying book pendant, and the rose clutch is lovely!

I received from Vanessow a few days ago but am just getting around to posting because the whole family has been sick. Ugh. My package was great!!! Sorry for the poor pic quality. Can't find my digital camera  Undecided

This is an adorable felt mad hatter pin! I immediately put it on my favorite bag Smiley

My husband wants to steal this shirt from me. We are both big fans of the game. Looks like it was done with bleach and a stencil. Very awesome Smiley

The next 3 are small painted panels. I was blown away! The picture quality does not do them justice. I can't wait to hang them up!

Thank you very much for an awesome package, Vanessow! <3

Wow, that tee is awesome! Is it bleach pen? I've never tried that technique, but I need to. I'm always afraid the bleach will cause the fabric to tear after repeat washings.
