This is the mini art quilt I sent to CohesiveChaos, about 16" x 16". It is supposed to be a gnarled tree stump. I hand-painted and distressed the fabrics I used for the bark and the bark pieces were sewn together with curved seams! I quilted some wool yarn on there for the knots. Although it ended up a more simple conception than I had originally planned, I like how it came together. I really like painting my own fabrics so I think I'll be doing more of that in the future.

Ooh, I really like that, craft minded. Totally looks like something you'd stumble onto in to forest.

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

Me and my partner still haven't received our quilts so i have decided to post a pic of the one i made.  Aromarage said that she liked stars and seemed to like oriental themes.

I hope she likes the look of it  Smiley
