I've finished my first Christmas present and it's for my parents.  I bought this pattern and today was the first time I had tried it.  It's also the first time I've used the quilt as you go method and I think I like it!  The dimensions are about 16" x 44"

              

and a close up of the bow section, which was difficult to figure out at first but once I got it, it went together nicely:

My hubby agrees  Smiley  I had it laying on our kitchen table when he came home from work and his words were, "Wow, that's nice.  Your mom is really going to like that"

It's awesome.  I love the bows in there.  You always have such great looking quilts.  I'm still working on my very first one.
