I think a lot of people have large-anxiety. I know I do... With my crafts I rarely make items that are very large in size since it wouldn't be practical, or would take too long. I did make a true large (shawl) for a fibre made swap, but that was only because there was extra crafting time to make up for the fact that knitting and crocheting can be slow work.

But... say... a set of somethings can be large. I made a set of perler bead nintendo coasters with a suncatcher to go with it for a silly santa swap and it was very well received. The good thing about that swap was that you had to craft and show pictures before the swapping started so I knew that others considered my offering a large. Cuts down on the anxiety a bit Smiley

I just remembered another thing I should ask for if I join this swap. A "landing place" of sorts for keys and pocket junk. My fiance empties his pockets on the coffee table and it's less than neat =D But he gets to put up with the craftiness that floods the entire apartment so... heh... We're just as bad, but in different ways.

I also have "large anxiety." I guess it's a pretty common disorder.  Roll Eyes

The idea of making a set of things is excellent. That pretty much takes it to the next level. I would rather err on the side of be too generous than looking stingy or uncaring.

Also, everything seems to take me twice as long as other crafters, so pretty much everything I can could qualify as large (according to time).

Glad its not just me!
The set idea sounds great though, to combat my anxiety Tongue

Any specific ideas of dates - when to start sign ups etc?
im excited!

Maybe signups mid-December (Dec 14thish?) with sendouts mid/late-January (January 19th)?  That way those of us who have time off over the holidays can craft, but it also gives people time to take a break from crafting, too, if they want.

When would you be able to participate?  We're trying for a new year's resolution type thing, but it's not set in stone.  Just Decemberish to Januaryish, I think!

Just throught I'd share this pattern for a stash basket. Looks like a cute idea for clutter control. I don't know how long it'd take me to crochet one, but probably quite a while since I'm a beginner crocheter =)

I'm not sure where I'll be around the holidays so I'd rather not start a swap in late december... January to February?

Oh, that stash basket is nice! I have a lot of various cotton yarns, so I just might try that.

Dates are flexible for me. I like the suggested dates, but if it happens in January-February, that would work too.

Hmm, yeah, either dates work i guess
i have an exam too - end of january,  but just one so thats ok
i just thought christmas holidays were a good time to craft for some people, since many people have the time off (me!), and i dont know why, but winter holidays alway seem extra crafty to me, i think because of the christmas lights n decorations, im not really sure!
