To celebrate the fact that the second series of The Thick Of It finally started, I made this

It's based on a youtube clip of a deleted scene from the show www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T0Ofr6VYMI. He says tea towel, but I didn't have one handy. Smiley

My first go at blackwork and I'm actually quite pleased with it. I'm still looking for the spelling/grammar mistake. I always make one and only ever see it once I'm done, but here I have yet to spot it.

I made this in about fifteen hours. Most of the work is in the border, which was a pain in the neck. I'm still considering putting something in between the lions, but can't think of anything that fits both the space and the piece.

Still working on that part. A4 is a surprisingly awkward size to find a frame for.  Wink

I think my eyes would have gone crossed trying to do that border. Great work.

Try ikea - they do an uber cheap wooden frame that holds A4 size. it's called RAM and costs 84p.. Smiley

This rocks! I can see it on my desk at work. No more questions after that.
