I found this great tree bark fabric and knew I had to make a log pencil roll for a personal swap with it.
Here it is all tied up.

And open with a new set of watercolor pencils in it.

If I remember right there are 24 pencils slots.

How smart and cute! I love the fabric, and you chose the perfect project for it. The fibers you used to tie it up really add to the look too.

I love the fabric you used for your "log".
What a great way to protect your special pencils. Now maybe an upright "stump" pencil holder?
