One or two years ago I bought leather paint on eBay. After I tried it out, I immediately bought another six packages  Smiley You just rub the paint in like you would do with shoe polish. This is what I did with a blue buttersoft leather banana bag
Originally it was also a darkblue bag, but over the years the colour faded. Here is a picture to see the difference:
The previous lining was completely worn out. I took out the zipper and reused it with a glitter fabric. Wait a minute => I am so not a glitter girl!
But this time I had fun using it, well hidden as a lining... Also I found the fabric in a Christmas decoration box, it was meant to cover the bottom of the tree Tongue Roll Eyes
It is a mix between gold and silver. It makes me smile secretly  Wink

I'm actually a bit phobic of glitter but this bag is really awesome!
