I love the era idea, 50's or 60's especially!

Favorite movie, or song is a good one too.

How about the spring melt? So, a melting theme? I don't know, the idea just popped into my head and hasn't fully evolved yet.

That sounds like a great idea, hgddm!  'Embellish a winter accessory--hat, scarf, cowl, headband'...

The first time I read this I read "Embellish a winter accessory - hat, scarf, cowl, husband..." and thought "How would I embellish my husband for winter??"  Cheesy

I like the idea for a materials challenge (using non-traditional materials, or using multiple materials), the embellishing a winter accessory, or how about "jewelry with a message"?

I like the 'jewelry with a message' idea Smiley  I have several pieces of jewelry I've mad with a literal message in them (I have a green LUCK bracelet with the word spelled out in it, and a HOPE purse dangle in pinks).

I am gearing up for 2 weekends of my local medieval faire, then about a week later I will be on vaca in NH...so....this challenge WILL get off the ground, promise, but it will be after Valentine's Day.  I will get a listing of ideas together and put a voting poll up soon, probably right after the faire and before my trip so we can hopefully come to a consensus on a good theme so I can get the challenge running right after my birthday (Valentine's Day Cheesy )  Keep those ideas comin'!

Hmm, I haven't come up with any new theme ideas, but I am eagerly awaiting the next challenge.  I do enjoy the favorite movie or tv show idea.

Oh and Sapphire, I hope you had a lovely time in NH!  (That's my home state and I'm "wicked proud" of it!)

I don't really do much inspired by movies or music, but I do quite a bit inspired by TV or books.  Would those fall into that category as well?
