I was inspired by some other zombie boxes on here.  But as cool as that is, its not functional. I mean really, what are you going to do with a plastic gun, empty shells and a dull knife when the zombies come? So, a few trips around town, an FBI background check and $1,000 later...

Now, I know there really arent zombies (yet). We have been wanting to get a gun case for a while, but there are none in Alaska, just big ol black safes. So we did this as a project to make an interesting, functional gun case. The glass is 1/4 inch Lexan, and I will be installing a locking mechanism, as well as keeping the trigger lock on the gun. In the near future, the shells will be replaces with empties. The box is already empty.

The shotgun started out as a standard Remington 870 Marine Magnum. We changed out the butt stock with an Advanced Technologies top folder, added the shell holder, replaced the forend and added the heat shield all from www.popguns.com. Also in the case is an SOG Fusion War Tomahawk. And the U.S. Army Zombie Combat Skills book.

So very cool!!  My husband would absolutely LOVE one of these!!

One question: is the book real? or a crafted fabrication?

Amazingly, the book is real. I stumbled across it at Barnes and Noble.

hahaha! excellent. it does show a remarkable level of complacency when those of us with the forethought to have a zombie-apocalypse plan still produce non-functioning solutions. well done!

First of all, I can see that you're really serious! But, I have a question. How would shooting an already dead person, who is technically not dead, kill them? I obviously haven't seen any Zombie films.
Those are some pretty serious toys.

That IS kind of a scary looking weapon, not exactly one you could hide in your pocket or your purse....
