I do make *other* things besides  bangle bracelets, but I was really pushing myself to get this done over the weekend. I started with a base of size 11 toho seed beads in cubic r-a-w. I realized after I started weaving that it was going to take awhile. I think I'll be sticking to size 8's or 6's for the base of these from now on...11's just take so long to work in cubic right angle weave. Pretty, but time consuming. Then I added size 8 tohos to give it a gentle flare. It's slightly rigid, mostly flexible.

I've been doing a plain white background for most of my pictures but decided to change it up yesterday. Does it look good with the jean background, or does it take away from the bracelet?

I didn't even notice the background until you mentioned it; it's nice and neutral. Good job with the weaving!

I'm looking for Simplicity 6340 (the 1970's sailor dress). PM me if you've got a copy to swop or sell! Cheesy

I like the jean background, and it's particularly attractive with this handsome green bangle...as the earlier poster said, it's nice and neutral which is what you want, isn't it?

I'll have to go find some of the ones with the white background to see if I care for one over the other.

I really like the jean background.  The bracelet is gorgeous though, so I hardly noticed it.

I LOVE your bangles! This stitch gets me confused....maybe cause I'm more of a loomer.....but I am in awe of everything you bead.....and can't wait to see more!
