Actually, I was thinking of sending a PM to everyone who participated in the last FAB to let them know this one is open. Is that a little too much?

I don't think so at all, pixieval.  Many people may not check the swaps list too often, maybe only getting involved in a few a year...or some may just not have time for craft swaps, but could get into a supply swap, and just don't know it's going on.  Or, people are full on swaps and have to wait for feedback...or or or....there could be a million reasons!  LOL!  Hit 'em up!

Yeah, well, I think my small flat rate box swap is kicking butt because it is cheaper to mail the envelope or the small box...and it's CRUNCH time with the holidays coming, and so many people having lay-offs and income reductions, that the 9.85 to mail the medium flat rate is just too expensive for them right now.  Also, many people had replied or talked about not possibly having enough stuff to fill a larger box, but enough to do 1 or 2 small boxes...which even 2 small boxes are less than HALF the filling area of ONE medium box...so that could be another reason.

Has everyone who expressed interest on the swap idea board already signed up? Maybe hit up the people that were in the swap a yeard of fabric swap as well, I know we didnt get to destash in that one like we would have wanted to.

BTW The SapphireMoon- I have one pattern sz 20-24 that I have absolutely no use for. Its Simplicity 3778. I bought it to make my mom a summer dress awhile back and then we found one she liked better. Let me know if you want it, I remember you saying you were wanting that size patterns. Just PM me if you do Smiley

Does it matter if the swap is a small one?  Supplies are an ongoing thing and destashing after the holidays will be a big deal.  We can do this again in January or February.

I started going through my stash yesterday and have already found a ton of stuff!  I haven't started going through my craft room yet so I know there will be a ton more!

Another idea is to post in the previous FAB thread with the link to this one.  That way you can reach everyone who was in it before without having to do the PM.

I would be happy to get stuff from everyone here so even if no one else signs up it's A-Ok with me!

I'm not looking at this as a de-stashing so much as I am a re-stashing.

I'm looking forward to getting things I may not think to buy or collect for myself and new opportunities for ideas.

Dh got his hopes up that I was actually going to get rid of things then they were dashed when I told him I was getting a box of the same size in return lol

I don't mind a small swap at all, but I was just hoping we would have enough vaierity so everyone could get a box crammed with stuff they want. I of course, want absolutely everything  Wink

Oh oh oh... this looks like a fun swap... I'd like to join but I recently finished my first swap and so I don't think I'll have positive feedback in time to join Sad
HappieHina we would so love to have you! Has your partner recieved yet? You could always ask your organizer to finish your feedback if your partner has recieved.
