Heehee... eww.
That's fantastic, really. Very clever. I think the best part of Halloween costumes are the little extras, and yours rocks.

That looks SO bloody fantastic!  How big is it?  Did you add any colour to the dough, or paint it afterwards?  It's been a long time since I worked with salt dough too, but have been saving a few projects for working with it one day.  Thanks for reinspiring me.  Love your pie!

Thank you all for your lovely comments.

The pie is lifesize and measures around 5 inches by 3 inches. The only colour added was an egg wash glaze over the pastry part at the beginning. I think it is this that made the pie look authentic.

I love this for several reasons. 1) I love that movie and 2) It looks like real pie. Great job!

Oh wow, this is so cool. That's the perfect touch for a Mrs. Lovitt costume. It's creepy realistic.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.
