Edit: pic is the modified version of the mask, now with the ability to breathe!

I'll be invoking Earth at a Samhain ritual this year and decided to make an autumn leaves and ivy mask to help me look the part.  It's a cheap white mask from Walmart with fake leaves hotglued on to make it awesome!

It looks great! I like the asymmetry, with the ivy.

Maybe you want to remove/cut/alter the one leaf at the bottom-center that covers your nose; that might help it sync with your face better, when you're wearing it. Otherwise, I think it looks great on you -- it has a vague butterfly silhouette that focuses attention in on your eyes.

I'd play around with uncovering your nose and see if that improves your opinion of its look in action; and great job! Wink

Thanks for the advice Mandanak, I opened up the nose and it looks a million times better.  Plus, it was more comfortable being able to breathe and all.  Smiley

That's such a cute idea!  It looks great. I might have to borrow it for my upcoming samhaine rite.

What a beautiful mask!
I can just picture it with a flowy skirt with similar leaves scattered on it.
Brightest Blessings LoriH!

I think it's great! Good luck on the ritual, it's always fun to dress up and play the part too, makes it less boring.

Thanks all!  Not to turn this into a religious discussion, but I'd like to give credit to where I got the idea from.  I took a mask aspecting class over the summer; info about a similar class in the same tradition is described here:  http://www.reclaimingquarterly.org/86/rq-86-aspectingdeity.html
