Hi, this is my creation: a lime bag!!

And this is how I made it...
First I made all patterns. I have to say that this bag it's inspired on my mother's bag; both have the same shape.
I cut all leather pieces... this was the most boring part!!
Here you have the back and the front of my bag

I chose this colour because I wanted a very colourful bag Smiley
Next step was sewing the segments of the lime. In order to keep symmetry I used this pattern

The upper part of the piece, the one not covered by the pattern, was folded down and sewed with the zipper.
And some minutes later I had the lime cover done.

Then I sewed the handle. This piece has the same width than the bag and it goes round. I did it cutting two strips and sewing them to each other. After that, I joined them with the lime covers.

In order to strengthen the handle and give it more colour, I sewed a second strip. This one was light green and went on the inside. This time I only needed one strip; I sewed in the visible part of the handle, the one that goes on the shoulder.
I made the lining with red fabric. I thought it would give my bag a little unexpected touch. I used the same bag patterns and I added a little pocket and a zipper.

Then I sewed two strips of leather. These pieces would be joined with the main bag.

When I had all these pieces joined together I made a last detail. I sewed a cotton strip on each side. This gave my bag a better look because all the seams and threads were hidden.

And finally I had my bag completed!! This is one picture of the colour contrast

and one more of the final result

Thanks for reading!!
