The hubby and I have been binging on Dr Who lately and we thought he could go as the tenth doctor as he already had a suit, converse and glasses. I had kicked around going as rose, but figured no one would know who I was, so I decided to go as the Tardis.  I like the dress.  The headpiece didn't quite work and broke halfway through the night.
Please forgive the quality of the photos, 9yr old and hubby were feeling silly and camera happy.

myspacy photo (my husband thought it was funny)

And one of hubby -- I made his sonic screwdriver

i'm in love with the two of you! and not in a creepy way, promise. this is exactly the inspiration i need to start on my dr who sock monkey. super awesome costumes! however, i find myself trying not to make some insulting joke about the tardis being bigger on the inside. *bites tongue*

i might be a tardis next year now.

Thanks for the compliment!  I so want to see your sock monkey.  I want to redo the light.  Bah, my husband kept making dirty tardis jokes all night

haha, that's awesome. It's a lot better than a literal translation; I wouldn't want to walk around wearing a refrigerator box all night, a dress is the best solution.

This rocks my world.  And renews my goal of making a TARDIS cake (as close to scale as I can get it--3D!).  Dr. Who is more awesome than words.
