I'm so happy with this swap! I love swaps with really specific themes, because you're always pretty sure that your partner will understand your tastes.  AppleSweet totally got me on this one and I love her for it.

She's an amazing artist folks. This is what I got:

I'm so sorry that my webcam is all I have right now. I wish you could all see how great her artwork is. One of my favorite things in TLA too.

A closer-up:

She also sent a really great, detailed embroidery project with a feather (The Darjeeling Limited is one of my favorites):

It's so cute and ready to hang on the wall in its hoop. I love it.

And of course, one of Chaz's dalmatian mice (It's a cat toy, but I won't let the cat have it):

I really love everything, and I loved this swap!  My package will go out on Thursday and I cannot wait to see if AppleSweet loves everything as much as I do.

Thank you AppleSweet!

@ madamq - This is the gallery for an organized swap. If you go into the organized craft swap section you can see all of the rules and FAQ's for swapping. You can also see all of the swaps that are currently open. Hope that helps.

@ theshipshape - That seahorse is so beautiful. And I love the feather embroidery, too.
...and the mouse..just too cute.

Can't wait to see the other packages!

I'm so glad you liked everything. My aim was for my package to be functional/decorative because that was the vibe I got from your swap profile. The mouse toy was my very first ever attempt at making a plush and it took a lot of tries. Give it to the cat! It's full of catnip.

Can not wait to see everyone's goodies!

It's true. I love it when I can really put something up on the wall or use it on a daily basis. Spot on with your package. The cat has the mouse in his mouth right now, actually. He's very protective.

Hey everyone,

I've added the status updates to the gallery too. It's just in the first post of this thread.
Everyone has either sent or contacted me about sending late except one person (my partner). So I just want to let you all know that I haven't sent yet.

Can't wait to see more Wes stuff.

I got my swap a couple of days ago but haven't been able to post until now. :/ My bad. But I got such a good swap from theshipshape!

Cute mini tote with a feather and quote from The Darjeeling Limited.

Cute mini pillow with the jaguar shark! Excellent fabric, too, it looks just like the shark.

The shark towel was one of those little wadded up balls and you get it wet and it becomes a face towel. Too cool! I love silly things like this, and love sharks! My boyfriend, a fellow shark lover, was also impressed. The little Marlboro is a little pouch which I adore. So perfect. I needed a case for my camera and this is absolutely perfect for the job, plus it looks really cool.

This was all part of Margot Tenenbaum's "I Always Wanted to Be a Tenenbaum" Kit (Too cute!) which included the rasta bracelet (A gift from Margot's first husband), her favorite eye makeup (A little bottler of black liquid liner), a pair of customized gloves (note the missing finger) and the Marlboro pouch, Margot's favorite secret vice. I laughed out loud when I saw the glove. This is funny because I was going to send a wooden finger, but I haven't even the slightest clue when it comes to wood-working, so I'm glad the joke got sent to me in a different way.

Loved my swap!! Can't wait to see the rest.
