This is a hot water bottle cover, and a double knit scarf.  The scarf took me ages, but was well worth the effort.  I love the the fact that the image is mirrored on the back.  Notice my clever use of the word "Mom" which is the only word, other then yay and wow, that I could think of to use in double knitting. (It has to look the same backwards and forwards)

This is a blanket I worked on circular needles, started on dpn's.  It has taken months, but if I had it too all over again, I wouldn't.  LOL  Smiley  I posted the hanging up picture to show you an idea of the size, but as you can see from it on my kitchen table, it looks much nicer flat.

I like all three of those a lot!  I've tried double knitting in the past and been foiled, but it's such a cool technique I should try again.

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.

Blairs, double knitting is tricky.  It's more of a mind trick then anything though.  I'd be happy to give you some advice if you like.  Smiley  The scarf was my first double knitting project and a real learning experience!

That scarf is so darlin'! I love it! double knitting is more of a test of will than skill:) That blanket looks super snuggly too!

Wow! I'm really impressed! All 3 projects look so professional. I love the colours too... i'm a big fan of red, and i also like the brown and blue together in the blankie.

Thanks everyone.  And Ltrain, I love that colour combo too, and as you can see, it matches my drapes very well, lol!  Cheesy
