I have had my own brain slug invasion.



The moment I saw your post I knew I would need to make these for my husband and I for Halloween.  I made an extra that is now making its way through the post to my unsuspecting brother . . . he he he.

Thanks to losingstreak for the inspiration to sew this instead of crocheting or knitting. My husband wanted a large brain slug to wear and small ones to offer people. Buying a few sheets of craft felt was cheaper than buying yarn--easier to find the right color too. It was a fun project.

We think these would be extra cute with googly eyes, but I wasn't sure how well gluing a flat disc to a curved surface would work  and I didn't have enough time to experiment (my fault for waiting until the last minute).
