So I have seen tons of the coin quilts online and they looked too cute not to make!  I loved using the charm packs for the rectangles, because its so easy to just cut them in half and sew!

It is a great couch sized quilt, and adds a nice homie touch to my very student home! haha

anyways, here it is:

the whole thing, being held by my nice friend Smiley

and some outside shots

thanks for looking!! Cheesy

Oooh, how cute!
I love how you could adapt it to any color scheme you like and it would still be adorable.

ooooooooooooo girl this looks super snuggly AND i love your color palate.

did you machine or hand quilt this?

i've yet to even try hand quilting. i made a coin quilt a few years ago and machine quilted it with longer stitches.

i did some free motion embroidery on my last tiny quilt. that's a super fun and easy technique too.

~~hugs~~

Pretty!  Once I am done with my various projects (Halloween costumes and hand-quilting a Q sized quilt), I intend to make a stacked coins quilt for my little girl.  They do always look so nice!!  I bet you'll really enjoy snuggling with that during the cooer months of the school year!
