I'm looking for a place that sells embroidery floss in toronto. Hopefully somewhere downtown or easy to get to on the TTC. I had to break down and get some from Walmart Sad don't want that to happen again.

It sucks with stores like Lewiscraft gone from under Cumberland Terrace and the like.  I don't cross stitch a lot, but a good friend of mine does religiously and she primarily gets hers from speciality shops in the West End.  Otherwise, you could try the Mary Maxim store in the mall on the North West corner of Eglinton and Yonge.  I would give them a call first to see if they carry any.

Otherwise my friend likes to buy from Gittas and the Sampler in the West End.

If anyone is swapping with me & happens to see any of the Pickup Trucks Forever stamps on their mail - please pop them in the package for me - my hubby would love them!  Huge pre-emptive thanks

I can confirm that Mary Maxim at Yonge/Eglinton does carry some. They have drawers of DMC, as well as megapacks of another brand - that's what I got last time I was there.

Queen St. and Spadina Ave. have several shops you should check out.

Just walk West from that intersection, the first shop should be on the left-hand side and no more than a three to four minute walk.  (sorry, I don't remember the names of these shops)
