After getting a monogram book at Joanns, I am addicted to monograms!! They go so quick. The purple J I did on a vintage hankie for my mom.  I am making everyone on my Christmas list monogrammed pillowcase sets so that's what the c and the b are.

I loooooove the style of the J. I want one!! Cheesy Except my name starts with A. hehe.

Did you do these by hand? They're wonderful and also very accurate. I can't see a single flaw!

Shocked  They are incredible!  If you don't mind me asking, what was the name of the book?  I'm really interested in checking it out now, even though my stitches don't look anywhere near as perfect and beautiful as yours, I have to give this a try.  Practice makes perfect, right?

Ooh! Gorgeous! Your stitching is amazing. I, too, would love to know the name of the book... You've just inspired me for some Christmas gifts!

Thanks for the compliments everyone! They are done by hand. Of course, I see all my flaws Smiley but oh, well. The book is called Embroidered Monograms and More Book 2, which now has me curious about Book 1. The book has 15 alphabets and several designs with a section that pulls out in the middle...all the designs are iron-on. Joanns has it, and Aunt Martha's Pillowcases and really nice flour sack towels too. The pillowcases are 8.99 for two, and with the coupon they are less than 5 bucks!

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

These are really nicely done!  I love fonts you chose and the way you executed them!  I have some monogram bookmarks in my future for xmas presents and you've reinvigorated my interest in getting started.
